Local Dogs put Singapore into the Map of Grand Prix of Dog Agility World Championships at the 2007 Cynosport World Games, Scottsdale, Arizona!

2 Local Pet Dogs puts Singapore into the Map of World Dog Agility Championships Competitions!

For the first time in Singapore History, Singapore is placed in the map of Cynosport World Games at the 2007 USDAA Nationals Grand Prix of Dog Agility World Championships. 2 Singaporean Pet Dogs, Max a Border Collie and Keesha, an Australian Shepherd, flew for over 16 hrs to the United States to compete at the Grand Prix Quarterfinals and qualified to enter into the Grand Prix Semi Finals out of over 1000 over dogs that has qualified in their Regional Competitions in their respective countries in the competitions held on 31st October to the 4th November.

Competition was tough but we are proud to say our dogs did extremely well among those Sporting breeds bred specifically to do Agility.

Max, age 6yrs, is now ranked 59th in the World of Grand Prix Dog Agility, Keesha, age 5 yrs is now ranked 80th, excellent being that this is the first time the dogs flew to take part in this event and first time stepping into US soil.

The 2007 Cynosport® World Games which features the final rounds of the worldwide competitions was held October 31st through November 4th at the WestWorld Equestrian Center in Scottsdale, Arizona. and will be aired on a cable network later in the year.

Singapore will also be hosting it’s first USDAA International Tournament Event in Singapore on the 5th and 6th January 2008. Open to the Public, winning qualifiers in their classes will be able to gain a foothold in the Semifinals of the 2008 Cynosport World Games, Grand Prix of Dog Agility and also the popular USD$10,000 Steeplechase Tournaments.
