In my opinion, training is daily, hourly and every minute you communicate with your dog. You don't have to set a specific schedule for training. Training starts when you communicate with your dog.<br /><br />Look at Lambo, we are just playing with the crate game. See how exciting and willing was he, when I started communicating with him after our daily potty walks.<br /><br />A positively trained dog can do it all!<br /><br /><br /><p></p>PUPS Dog Traininghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14042981203452250728noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8937646881931953586.post-68283629346222965822021-03-24T19:38:00.004+08:002021-03-24T19:38:21.129+08:00Driving is like Dog Training?<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2BO_XJ661HxFy0ayJu-tLeME4WsOqQyR277_EHCH4yR7IHLy69kTymPGejYzOUmCKdn6JeC-ZIWtVBeDhFonhhFAklJzd11qOAWiq88XbUh1bzsXXFy7QT1oxgX26eFQfxop96hcy2UI1/s1512/IMG_20210324_193857_269.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1512" data-original-width="1512" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2BO_XJ661HxFy0ayJu-tLeME4WsOqQyR277_EHCH4yR7IHLy69kTymPGejYzOUmCKdn6JeC-ZIWtVBeDhFonhhFAklJzd11qOAWiq88XbUh1bzsXXFy7QT1oxgX26eFQfxop96hcy2UI1/s320/IMG_20210324_193857_269.jpg" /></a></div><br /> <p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Dog Owners always ask, it is possible to send your puppy to some Board and Training Facility, and they will be returned to my trained dog. The Answers is Yes and No. <br /><br />Let me give you an analogy. Dog Training is like driving a car. Once you learnt how to drive, your skills depend on daily practice. For example, if you took 2-weeks of holidays and you will return home and start driving, your driving skills, road sense, parking, changing lanes need some time to be back to normal. <br /><br />It's the same as dog training. If you don't practice the skill sets regularly, your puppy or dog will not be capable of performing the behaviour you are requesting. <br /><br />So it will be like you will need a driver to ferry you around, as you are not capable of driving. And you still can't manage and handle the car.</p>PUPS Dog Traininghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14042981203452250728noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8937646881931953586.post-42374408965966620552021-03-17T14:51:00.005+08:002021-03-17T14:51:59.589+08:00Do Your Puppy Loves You?<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZWBo2I3d3HtfHR-U1GS7dd5vfqQiQeS2W4HqF-aaijFEVYQQ7GIcFS63-DZ9pZFBMiTYDpxYOgvVxbpUjaTFceVYrF0XTLTKv3EBh_B-JUS1lY7D9S6fjAiecrLd8Q9EqemeLY-4b1sM-/s1350/IMG_20210317_143817_818.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1350" data-original-width="1080" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZWBo2I3d3HtfHR-U1GS7dd5vfqQiQeS2W4HqF-aaijFEVYQQ7GIcFS63-DZ9pZFBMiTYDpxYOgvVxbpUjaTFceVYrF0XTLTKv3EBh_B-JUS1lY7D9S6fjAiecrLd8Q9EqemeLY-4b1sM-/s320/IMG_20210317_143817_818.jpg" /></a></div><br /><p>Do you know how to ascertain that our puppy loves us? A new study on companion dogs, led by biologist Ana Catarina Vieira de Castro of the Universidade do Porto in Portugal, showed that dogs trained with positive reinforcement showed less stress, and learned faster (yay!) than the dogs trained with leash jerks and loud aversive voices. No surprise here at all, but always great to have more good data in our pockets.
